Slow Sunday
Slow Sunday is a new thing here. Once a week I write the post by hand, on notebook paper, and the page itself goes up with it — no keyboard, no cleanup, just the writing as it came out.
There are 137 days left in 2026. Plenty of time to accomplish the goals you set in January. For me, that’s 137 blog posts to write. And today I started the book of Job — it was my goal to read the Bible in reverse order, starting in Revelation, with an expected finish in Genesis on December 31st.
Unexpected projects and new goals grow organically out of your current goals. For example, I have written 228 blog posts, and out of that came my self-published coloring books, and my book’s protagonist. On my birthday, Coffee and Me will debut. On Fridays I write about my Glimmers, Wednesdays are posts from my coffee book, and today I am going to call this Slow Sunday. I am writing this piece on paper, then taking a picture, uploading it, and adding it to my blog.
