Transitions

Sundays are Slow Sundays. I write the post by hand, take a picture of the page, and upload it from there. I get the benefit of moving a pen across paper and the benefit of the tech. The cover is a collage I made out of old campaign posters that came in the mail.

Below is Slow Sunday #2.

Transitions are challenging. Transitions can come in many forms.

People who were once a daily presence in your life move on, and you are left. You or I may move away. A new job, a new church, a new neighborhood, a new group or club.

At first it is sad. It is uncomfortable to be melancholy during a period of change. But forward motion is a willingness to embrace what is new.

Whatever you are feeling, even down, creates the conditions for new joy at what is being created, and gratitude for what you had.

Who was once a daily presence in your life?

Here, I made this. My gift to you, for taking the time to read.
