Slow Sunday

Slow Sunday is written by hand. No screen, no keyboard — just a pen, a notebook, and whatever the morning is actually doing. The photo of the page comes first. The typed version is below it.

It has been raining since 4 a.m. It normally does not rain in LA until November or December. The current rain is residue from a hurricane passing through the Pacific Ocean some 800 miles away.

Listening to the rain fall is a relaxing activity. While listening, it is also a good time to check in with yourself and ask, what is going on inside me?

Once you ask the question, take time to answer it. Sip your coffee and listen to the drip drop hitting the roofs and sidewalks just outside your door.

When was the last time you sat still long enough to hear the answer?

Here, I made this. My gift to you, for taking the time to read.

Images are from my imagination, generated by AI. Writing is all me.
