Options

It is second nature for me to enter a store and complain internally about the rising cost of food. Today, a reframe came to mind. Perhaps it’s a blessing to have options. For example, I can make coffee at home or go out. Or do I walk to the farmers market on a Sunday morning or go to the store to buy food to cook? The ability to make choices is a blessing and a privilege. There are many people in parts of the world near and far who wish they had these types of options. War-torn areas where food, clean drink water, and shelter could be a dream or prayers being prayed by those in need. Options are a blessing. So, instead of continuing to complain about the high cost of groceries. I am thankful for the options and choices available to me.
