Just address

Before leaving work today, my mind began to drift toward situations that would be occurring tomorrow. I said to myself, I will solve tomorrow’s problems tomorrow.

Upon reflection, I had to revise that statement to: I will address tomorrow’s problems tomorrow. The reason is that I don’t always know how much time and energy will need to be devoted to a problem.

Certain situations are not like a true-or-false test, where you complete the questions, exchange papers, and receive a grade. Situations are far more complex, and even when you don’t have a solution, you should still commit to addressing them.

Tomorrow, you can begin.
