Houseguests

Tired comes not like a thief in the night, but like a visitor who has overstayed their welcome — just lingering on the couch, eating your food, watching your TV, and even wearing your clothes.

You try to get Tired to leave: first by drinking coffee, going on a walk, planning an event — but it does not go away. Then it even has the audacity to invite its friends, Irritation and Anger, over. And then you realize: if you just ignore them and go to sleep, they will eventually leave.

What uninvited “visitors” do you let linger in your life, and what would it look like to simply stop fighting them and rest?
