Full credit hasn’t been given to my mouth for acting as a third hand. In fact, I never quite even acknowledged that my mouth functioned like a third hand until I couldn’t use it.

See, I was at the airport preparing to go through security on the way to visit family in Chicago.

People, in general, are good goal setters. We even devote part of a National Holiday to the setting of goals. New Year’s Resolutions.

A good part of the population takes the time to set goals and then proclaims them.

Today is day 221 of 2021. 221 blog posts during the year. I set out to write every day this year. So far, so good. I don’t worry about not being able to put up a post each day.

My second book is off to the editor. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The hard part is done. Now on to publishing book two and moving on to book three.

I have a difficult time being off of work. I feel guilty about it too. However, I know that I should be thankful that I accumulate paid vacation time and am free to take it as I see fit.
