Winter Break

Winter Break. Two weeks where I don’t have to go into work, wake up at a certain time, meet deadlines, commute in traffic, make constant decisions, answer questions, respond to emails, or resolve challenging situations. I had the privilege of shopping for my family, watching movies, drinking coffee from Christmas mugs, and enjoying meaningful conversations with friends.

Within all of this, I am aware that others are hurting during this season, and it is important for those of us experiencing joy to take time to remember those who are in pain. There are so many ways to consider others—a text, a call, an invitation, a prayer.
