Tuesday

Tuesday is the second day of the work week. Not dreaded like a Monday can be , nor does it generate the excitement birthed by a Friday, it is just Tuesday. Why do I favor some days of the week and not others? As a child you could not have told me that in about 40 years you will come to dislike certain days of the week. As a child the future brought joy, to a young boy childhood felt like a prison sentence, there was no freedom, no car, no job, money had to be obtained from your parents,, people told you no. That is what I desired. Now as an adult, the freedom feels less than free, and the future now seems scary. Then again perhaps it all can be blamedWhen did you first notice that the freedom you longed for as a child felt different than you expected once you had it — and what did that moment teach you about what you were really searching for?
