Stacks
There are mornings when you wake up before the alarm goes off.
You’d really like to go back to sleep.
But you can’t.
So you get up.
You walk the dog.
You read your Bible.
You write in your journal.
You fill out your to-do list.
You write down what you’re grateful for.
Then you open Amazon and discover your book has finally been published.
You spend a little time working on a marketing plan.
You write a blog post.
You make Trader Joe’s meatballs and a little rice for lunch.
You pack everything up for work.
You’re still tired.
You’d still rather crawl back into bed.
But you get dressed and head out the door.
And then you remember…
It’s payday.
Sometimes life isn’t about waiting to feel energized before you move. Sometimes it’s about quietly stacking one small action on top of another until, before you know it, you’ve built a meaningful morning.
Not every good day begins with excitement.
Sometimes it begins with simply deciding to keep going.
What is one action you can stack today?
