Right and Left Are for Socks, Not People
Take a look at yourself—a literal look. Name what you see.
You may or may not have a left hand. You may or may not have a right hand. Guess what: those are your hands.
You wouldn’t harm your right hand if it made a mistake, and you wouldn’t hurt your left hand if it produced an error. If you did, your entire body would suffer.
Take a look at yourself again. Are you wearing a label someone else gave you?
I have a right hand and a left. But direction should not define our identity or our humanity.
End the labels. Political right and left belong to ideas and debates, not to the core of who we are as humans.
