Plug into Joy.

I went to work this morning in a Dodgers jersey, hat, blue Converse, and my blue sunglasses. With the championship parade rolling, I decided to plug into the city’s joy. I’ve lived in Los Angeles for 25 years, but I’m a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan—grew up in Chicago—so in mob-movie terms, the Dodgers are my goomah. The city partied Saturday night, and today hundreds of thousands packed downtown for the parade. After a stressful week, I chose to lean into the celebration and let it recharge me.
