Glimmers

It’s Friday—and on Fridays, I like to look back and find the glimmers.

Even when the week is stressful… even when it’s exhausting… there are always moments worth holding onto. Small wins. Quiet joys. Things that remind you you’re still living, not just working.

Here’s my glimmer list this week:

  1. Mother’s Day — celebrating my wife, going to church, eating at Black Angus Steakhouse, and my son making French toast for her. That one meant something.

  2. Opening my Redbubble store — putting my AI art out into the world. That’s a step.

  3. Writing 2,000+ words on my novel — progress is progress.

  4. Blogging every day this week — showing up consistently.

  5. Morning walks with my dog — simple, steady, grounding.

  6. Wednesday library reset — walking the stacks, breathing, remembering who I’ve always been.

Every Friday, look for glimmers.

It gives you something to look forward to—and something to hold onto.

What were your glimmers this week?
