End of the Month

Today is the last day of February, and this is my final post of the month.

Two months in. Two months of daily posts. Done.

I want to take a moment to share something I've built into my process that made this month's wrap-up feel less like a chore and more like a revelation.

Almost all of my posts start in a Google Doc. I write, I finish, I download to PDF. This month, I collected all of February's posts and uploaded them into NotebookLM — and then I asked it to do something simple: summarize the month and create an infographic.

Here's what it gave me:

"This collection of blog posts from February 2026 explores the intersections of leadership, personal discipline, and modern technology. The author emphasizes the importance of habitual consistency, arguing that excellence is found in mundane daily rituals rather than sporadic bursts of inspiration. To combat professional burnout, the text advocates for strict digital boundaries and restorative weekend practices that prioritize 'recharging' over 'policing' tasks. The narrative also examines artificial intelligence as a transformative tool for human-centric leadership, suggesting it can automate administrative burdens to allow for more empathetic management. Throughout the entries, the author encourages readers to embrace self-compassion and maintain a commitment to their goals despite inevitable setbacks or 'meh' moods. Ultimately, the sources serve as a guide for staying grounded in purpose while navigating the complexities of a fast-paced, tech-driven world."

I didn't tell NotebookLM what my themes were. It found them.

Leadership. Personal discipline. Modern technology.

That's the thread running through everything I wrote this month — and now I can see it clearly. That clarity helps me shape what I'll write in March. It opens doors for how I might repurpose, expand, or reorganize this content into something larger down the road.

This is what I mean when I talk about molding AI into my leadership rather than letting AI mold me. I wrote every word. I lived every post. The AI simply helped me see the pattern I'd already created.

That's a tool doing exactly what a tool should do.

Now, if you'll excuse me — I have a celebration shirt to go find.

Two months down. More to come.

If someone outside your work summarized the last 60 days of your leadership, what three themes do you think they'd find — and would those themes reflect the leader you're trying to become?
