Coffee makes life better
The sleeve on my coffee cup says coffee makes life better. This morning I agree — and it seems the same for everyone around me. Early Saturday on the back patio of the coffee shop, people are engaged in conversation with friends and family, reading books, listening to gentle music. Even the dogs under the table seem to be enjoying the benefits of being in the presence of coffee. Coffee lets me hit the pause button on the concerns that fill my days. But out of the pause comes a strategy to move forward. I know not everyone drinks coffee, so maybe the statement is neutral. But for those of us who do? Yes. Coffee makes life better.
What’s your version of the pause — the small ritual that quiets the noise long enough for clarity to find you?
