Glimmers

Ben Grimm, otherwise known as The Thing from the Fantastic Four, has a catchphrase: "It's clobberin' time!" But today is Friday, so for me, it's glimmering time.

Friday Glimmers is when I look back on my week and think about the things that went well. The positive interactions, the experiences, the places I visited, the moments that simply made life a little better.

This week's glimmers include going olive oil tasting with my wife in Ojai. I'd never done that before, and it was wonderful. I tried an espresso-infused olive oil that was excellent, and a peach-infused one that was just as good. I also picked up a bag of coffee from Ojai Coffee Roasters.

I was on vacation this week, so I had a beach day, spent time in some great coffee shops, finished a library book, and eased myself back into work. Last night, my wife and I met up with some friends for a free R&B concert in the Culver City Plaza, which was a great way to wrap up the week.
